Grand Welcome Yard is a strategic logistics facility serving Umm Qasr Port and Iraq’s trade gateway. The yard centralizes truck entry and exit, customs clearance, cargo inspection, security coordination and operational monitoring in one integrated environment. Through electronic monitoring, automation and coordination with the General Company for Ports of Iraq, Customs, the Border Ports Authority and security agencies, GWY contributes to smoother cargo flow, reduced congestion, stronger operational transparency and more efficient trade facilitation.
