Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to Officially Participate in ITL IRAQ EXPO 2026 in Baghdad
The Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will officially participate in ITL IRAQ EXPO 2026 in Baghdad, highlighting strategic Iraq–Türkiye cooperation in transport infrastructure, the Development Road, and regional trade connectivity.

The Republic of Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will officially participate in the second edition of the Iraq International Transportation, Airports & Logistics Expo and Conference (ITL IRAQ EXPO 2026), scheduled to take place from 25 to 27 November 2026 at Baghdad International Fairground.
Held under the patronage of the Iraqi Prime Minister, with the support and patronage of the Iraqi Minister of Transport, the exhibition will bring together government institutions, international transport authorities, industry leaders, investors, and global companies to explore the future of transport infrastructure and logistics connectivity.
The official participation of Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure represents a significant addition to the exhibition’s international governmental presence and reflects the strategic importance of strengthening transport cooperation between Iraq and Türkiye.
A Strategic Partnership for Regional Connectivity
This participation comes amid growing cooperation between Iraq and Türkiye in developing international transport corridors, strengthening infrastructure integration, and facilitating regional and global trade.
At the center of this cooperation is the Development Road project, a major strategic initiative designed to establish an integrated transport corridor linking Iraq’s Grand Faw Port with Türkiye’s transport networks and onward connections to international markets.
The project offers opportunities for developing railway connectivity, road infrastructure, multimodal transport systems, and logistics services, while supporting Iraq’s ambition to become a regional hub for trade and transit.
Connecting Government Vision with Global Industry
Through its official participation, Türkiye’s Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure will contribute to the international dimension of ITL IRAQ EXPO 2026, providing opportunities for institutional engagement, knowledge exchange, and dialogue on transport development and regional economic integration.
The exhibition will also serve as a platform connecting government decision-makers, engineering and infrastructure companies, logistics operators, and investors to explore opportunities for cooperation and long-term partnerships.
